2015 Tuhao Raw Puer Tea from White2tea.
This tea is our attempt at blending a tea with character similar to Laobanzhang, without using any actual Laobanzhang material. Though Laobanzhang character is not a singular thing, and can mean literally hundreds of different things, we opted for a tea with a lighter bitterness and more sweetness and internal strength.
The cake is a commentary on the focus on brand name, fame, and authenticity. The tea itself is excellent quality. Despite not being "real" Laobanzhang, it is real tea.
2015 Last Thoughts Raw Puer Tea from White2tea.
A tea made with high quality material that took no small effort to acquire. This tea has the character of Yiwu and is elegant, and deceptively powerful. As we mentioned with our 2014 Last Thoughts, this is a tier of tea that rarely sees the open market, much less the Western market. An enduring tea that we hope you get the opportunity to try.
2015 Bosch Raw Puer Tea from White2tea.
This is tea is a blend of several areas, with character from both Xishuangbanna and Yiwu. The tea has light flavor and fragrance, causing it to be deceptively soft. Though we prefer to shy away from descriptions of body feeling, but it is worth mentioning that this tea creates an noticeable body feeling after being consumed. We do not recommend this tea for Puer beginners, as the subtlety and elegance of this tea may be lost on the beginners. This tea may be a better place to begin.
Originally pressed as a tea for our White2tea Tea Club.
2015 Green Shroom Raw Puer Tea from White2tea.
Pressed into a traditional jincha [mushroom shape], the tea is from Menghai area and has a strong and sweet, floral character, which is direct and fragrant. The tight pressing should preserve this fragrance well as it ages.
