The 2013 Baimudan [White Peony] is a white tea from Fujian province. The tea is very bud heavy. It has a fresh fragrance, gently transitioning into middle age; wispy, floral and soft. The Baimudan white tea has been aged a few years; it can be aged further or steeped now.

A blend of both white and black tea, Hot Brandy is a completely new style of cake that was born of experimentation. The soup is thick, smooth, and fragrant. It fairs well with both gongfu style and western style brewing. The tea has excellent endurance and can steep for a very long time and can even withstand being simmered or boiled without becoming acrid.
Both the white tea and black tea have been sun dried and should age well together. However, this cake is the first of its kind; how it will age is anybody's guess.

The Old Whitey was a special commission for white2tea using large leaf Puer varietal (camellia sinensis assamica), processed as white tea in a similar fashion to Fujian shoumei, that was fully sun dried with no air tunnel drying. The results are a unique and natural tea suitable for drinking now or for further aging. The body of the tea is intensely thick and smooth, with a distinct sweetness and floral scent.

Gongfu style brewing will yield a lighter colored soup and boiling will produce a thick red soup, the image shown is the middle ground.
