This tea was produced in 2018 by hand roasting tea with a traditional technique of bamboo tea pressing. The aromatics of the bamboo and the flame of the roast have mingled with the bright aromas of the fresh, bud heavy white tea to make a very unique experience. It has a complex interplay of fragrance, sweetness and smoothness. This tea was roasted in the tips of the bamboo stalks, with 80 grams of tea per piece. Rather than break them up for a 25g sample, we will be selling them directly as a whole piece. Each purchase is for 80 grams.$23.50 Add to cart
Old Reliable was pressed in 2017. Our infamous house blend; a solid daily drinker ripe Puer tea that you can count on. The orange peels add an entrancing fragrance to the tea and will age with the tea over time. An excellent drink for cold weather, nothing warms you up quite like a Big O. Each cake is 200 grams. The blend contains both ripe Puer tea and aged chenpi.$5.00 – $32.00 Select options

A specially commissioned baimudan grade white tea from Guizhou province. We tried and fell in love with this tea in 2017, but were too late to buy any of the material. In the spring of 2018 we had our money in the producers hands before the buds were plucked.
Censers is an elegant white tea with a full bodied smoothness. The tea has a bright and complex fragrance that endures throughout a long session, lingering in the mouth and the cups long after the tea has gone. The fragrances and flavors shift between sweet floral aromas and fresh light fruits. One of our favorite white teas from 2018 spring.
A blend of both white and black tea, Hot Brandy is a completely new style of cake that was born of experimentation. The soup is thick, smooth, and fragrant. It fairs well with both gongfu style and western style brewing. The tea has excellent endurance and can steep for a very long time and can even withstand being simmered or boiled without becoming acrid. Both the white tea and black tea have been sun dried and should age well together. However, this cake is the first of its kind; how it will age is anybody's guess.$4.50 – $27.50 Select options
Lumber Slut was pressed in 2017. If you dislike the idea of licking wood and rolling around on the damp forest floor, turn back now. Lumber Slut is not the most approachable ripe Puer tea. Blended to favor the dense flavors of petrichor, this style of ripe Puer is focused on unfolding as a woody experience with notes of camphor and lower umber toned tastes. Will benefit from further aging, but if you're down for what this tea is offering, we suspect you can drink it straight away without flinching. Each cake is 200 grams of tea.$3.25 – $20.00 Select options
Snoozefest is a limited edition blend of tea (only 100 cakes) that we would normally sell for over $40 per cake, however, we are selling it for $15 for each 200 gram cake ($75 per 1kg tong). 'Tis the season for hype, generosity and laughter. No samples. First come, first serve. Drink now or age for the long haul. All love.$15.00 Select options
Old arbor large leaf varietal tea that is usually destined to be made in raw Puer, picked and directly sun dried with no machine processing involved. We also have a black tea version of the same material.
Arbor white is deep and complex, thick tea with low tones and a subtle natural feel. This tea has a long development over the course of a session and can be a bit heavy. Not an ideal daily drinker, the Arbor white is better left for occasions where one can immerse themselves in this tea.
The 2017 white tea is made in a natural white style. The tea has minimal processing, picked and sun dried. This tea was processed from tea that is usually destined for raw Puer from the Mengsong mountain range in Yunnan. The Sunlight White is sweet and soft, with a full range of leaves contributing to its depth. It is wispy and easy to drink with a natural character and a light floral fragrance. Perfect to drink now, but could be aged as well. Each purchase is for 50 grams.$7.50 Add to cart
You've been at sea for weeks and you're bone-tired. The tattered sails need repairs and your crew is working frantically to mend them; storm clouds loom on the horizon. They are fatigued from a full day's labor. Murmurs and complaints linger on the breeze. The faint stench of mutiny. Your mates grow weary, wondering if they'll ever see port again. Lily-livered bastards. Is it the weeks of subsisting on mussels and whale meat? Straw mat beds and the churning waters that ceaselessly toy with our vessel? No matter. This is what they signed up for and you've got bigger fish to fry. The crew continues sewing the sails as you plot the next move. Your throat is raw from barking orders. The briny sea air and your pipe tobacco haven't helped a bit. Your first mate pokes his head through the door, "Your tea is ready, Captain." Each mini cake is 8 grams, each purchase is for one mini cake.$1.50 Add to cart
Grandpa's was hand pressed in 2017. This early spring 2019 white tea is made in a sun dried white style. The tea has minimal processing, picked and sun dried. This tea was processed from tea that is usually destined to be made as Dancong oolong, made from the Milan varietal from Guangdong province. The Milan White is sweet and succulent. The large leaves take several steeps to ramp up, pouring out a bright spectrum of fragrances during a gongfu session. Quite a unique experience, as this varietal of tea is seldom produced as white tea. Each purchase is for 25 grams.$7.50 Add to cart

It combines several regions of Puer tea together with a partial mixture of our own small batch ripe Puer from last year. Silky mouthfeel and engaging sweetness with a unique fragrance. Best when enjoyed on Sunday. This tea will benefit from resting around six months to one year, as it has some fairly fresh ripe Puer within the blend.
