For those seeking some age on their Puer with budget in mind, the classic mushroom offers the smoothness of middle age, without sacrificing your wallet. This tea is fragrant and sweet with Menghai character. There is some residual astringency in the early steeps, but the tea is overall a smooth experience. This maocha [loose Puer tea] was aged in Xishuangbanna since 2007.

This tea has a Menghai character. The soup is smooth and sweet, with plenty of complexity. The material was rested for a full year prior to pressing and is ready to drink now or store for the long term. An excellent ripe Puer blend for beginners and veterans alike.

Pressed into a traditional jincha [mushroom shape], the tea is from Menghai area and has a strong and sweet, floral character, which is direct and fragrant. The tight pressing should preserve this fragrance well as it ages.
