Free Tuition Tea
Every new puer drinker inevitably spends money on teas to broaden their horizons and learn about puer tea. Tuition tea is often a negative term used for tea of low quality which was purchased before the student knew much about puer tea. Our goal is to redefine tuition tea as a term for diligent study. The image below is a view of the stacks of cakes that are scattered around our storage area. Some are gifts. Others are samples from various farmers, friends, and vendors. Some are purchases from years past. You might be thinking:
Q: Why not drink them?
A: We don't have enough time or space in our pots to drink it all!
Q: Why not sell them?
A: They are odds and ends. Who wants a half cake of 2009 ______? Who wants 250g of last years spring maocha from ______ region?
Q: Will you let them go to waste?
A: Absolutely not. We are turning them into
tuition.
How to Get Free Tuition Teas
Any order over $75 (before shipping) will receive two free 25 gram samples. Any order over $200 (before shipping) will receive eight free 25 gram samples. Any order over $500 (before shipping) will receive twenty (yes, a half kilo) of free 25 gram samples. And just to be clear, the tuition is a full ride - shipping for the weight of the free tea samples is on us. Teach yourself about puer the old fashioned way - by drinking copious amounts of tea. ripe puer tea from our archives, all good stuff. Some will be
maocha [unpressed material] and others will be from cakes or
