In the Spring of 2013, we purchased a small quantity of single tree gushu [old arbor] tea from Jingmai, to be mountain aged and pressed in 2014. Rather than have the material pressed immediately, it was stored in Jingmai for one year, with the intention of returning to Jingmai in the Spring of 2014 to mix with single trees from 2014 Jingmai, as well as some other old arbor material from 2014 Spring. Just a few months away from making the blend, we thought we would share a few photographs from Spring 2013 in Jingmai.
