Almond Red

This black tea was made with Taorenxiang (peach pit fragrance) varietal and is technically a sub-type of xingrenxiang which translates as almond fragrance, but we're calling it almond anyhow because it's the more recognizable umbrella group.  This tea is usually destined for Dancong oolong production, but we commissioned a black tea production from this spring.

The Almond Red is a black tea with a broad fragrance profile that incorporates the base of toasted marzipan sweetness, through vanilla and overripe red stone fruits. A stellar tea for aromatic black tea lovers.

Each purchase is for 25 grams.
