Decaf Raw Puer

One of our new Decaf tea experiments. We commissioned this tea to be decaffeinated using the CO2 process to lower the caffeine to the EU standard. This does not mean that the tea is caffeine free, but it does mean that it only has around 0.4% of the original caffeine content. (Unless you are super sensitive to caffeine, it's barely noticeable) This process does change the overall flavor and aroma, but they're excellent for most people who need a night time drinking option. 

Have you ever wanted just one more session of raw Puer tea, but you also have to work in the morning? This is the scenario our Decaf raw Puer was built to address. The intensity of raw Puer tea, without the sleep wrecking power. This is it's own 2024 blend, but most similar to 2024 Everybody Works But Father. The processing changes the color of the tea, but it's still young raw Puer. 

The characteristic base of raw Puer is still present. Deep sweetness and long lingering huigan (returning sweetness in the mouth), along with a plesant bitterness and complex depth. Any degenerate tea lover would be happy to drink this at 1 in the morning.
