A project that began in 2019, this tea is a culmination of several years of experimentation with charcoal roasting Puer. Pink & Blue was sent to Fujian province to be charcoal roasted by hand by veteran Wuyi Yancha makers. The result is a truly unique tea. A blend of 2020 and 2021 raw Puer teas, roasted in autumn 2021 in Fujian and rested until pressing this spring.
Intense tea with an undercurrent of bitterness and a burly core that pushes up against the fiery punch of the charcoal roast. A classic style Puer tea blend with a twist that transports the tea into a new realm.
